What it is and what it costs

Caresse is a mobile app from Studio Mokuton that produces guided erotic audio on demand. The site describes it as "L'application d'intimité guidée par l'IA, pour les couples et l'exploration solo" (the AI-guided intimacy app, for couples and solo exploration): a listener sets up a profile, picks a tone and intensity, and the app writes and voices a session of its own, narrated by a synthetic voice. Nothing is visual. The pages are emphatic that there is "aucun contenu visuel explicite" (no explicit visual content), only a voice and the listener's imagination.

Downloading the app is free, and so are the demos. Personalized sessions are the paid part, bought as credits, one-off, with no subscription. That is the whole commercial model in one line: listen to demos at no cost, then pay per generated session if you want one built around your own names and preferences. A separate one-time upgrade adds extra personalization options.

Caresse is an audio product first and an AI product second. The audio side is plain: the product is narration. The AI side is equally plain, since each session is generated by a model when the listener starts it. Its own FAQ is candid about the trade-off, noting that because the content is generated, "de légères incohérences restent possibles" (slight inconsistencies remain possible).

Paying and stopping

Payment runs through the stores, not the studio. The home page FAQ says purchases go through the App Store or Google Play ("passent par l'App Store ou Google Play") and need an Apple or Google account on the store used, with its payment method. That makes Apple or Google the party that bills, depending on the phone. The pages do not print a statement descriptor, so how a charge reads on a card or bank statement is not stated, and it should not be guessed from the store names.

Because everything is a one-off purchase, there is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews. The support page says it directly: "Caresse propose uniquement des achats ponctuels (packs de crédits, déblocage de fonctionnalités), aucun abonnement récurrent" (Caresse only offers one-off purchases, credit packs and feature upgrades, with no recurring subscription). There is no plan for a trial to convert into; the demos are free listening, not a trial period. The sales terms call the one-time upgrade "un achat non renouvelable et définitif" (a non-renewable, final purchase).

In October 2026 a comparison page on the site listed credits in 3 bundles: 1 experience (25-35 min) at €1.99, 3 experiences at €5.49 and 5 experiences at €7.99. The one-time "Unlimited Exploration" upgrade was listed at €9.99, described as adding advanced personalization options plus 1 free credit. The same page says each generated experience stays available "any time on your account and in the app". The sales terms qualify those figures: a generation consumes one or more credits depending on the options chosen, and prices are shown in euros including tax inside the app before any purchase, varying by region with the local taxes Apple or Google apply.

Refunds are the part to read twice. The support page states that the stores are the only parties able to process refunds, and tells buyers to contact Apple or Google directly for any request. The pages describe no refund process run by the studio itself. There is one carve-out on the support page: if a technical failure is proven, such as a server error or an interruption with no content delivered, the credits used are restored automatically, and the buyer can report an anomaly by email. That is a credit restoration, not a refund to the card. The sales terms add that credits are debited "au moment du déclenchement de la génération" (when generation is triggered), "indépendamment du résultat produit par l'IA" (whatever the AI produces).

Deleting an account loses any unspent credits for good, according to the privacy page, while the lifetime upgrade can be restored later through the app's "Restaurer mes achats" (Restore my purchases) function. The sales terms also set aside the 14-day withdrawal right: starting a generation counts as consent to immediate delivery, and no refund is given because a result missed expectations, because the buyer changed their mind or because they deleted the account. An accidental purchase or a handling error goes to Apple or Google.

Account, data and the site's rules

A Caresse account is not required. A demo plays on first opening the app, "sans inscription" (without sign-up), and going further needs only an anonymous identifier: a first name or pseudonym of your choice, "sans identité réelle" (with no real identity). The profile screens are built around borrowed names, and the site tells users "Vos vraies données restent les vôtres" (your real data stays yours). The caveat the FAQ states itself: anonymous mode covers use of Caresse, not the purchase, which still goes through an Apple or Google account.

The privacy page lists what runs behind that: a Firebase session, a RevenueCat identifier and Firebase Analytics, the last used to study anonymized behavior in the session-creation flow. It says the app uses no advertising cookies or third-party trackers for targeting, and that the website uses Umami Cloud for measurement. Users can ask for access, erasure or portability by email to the publisher, with a reply promised within 1 month, and can complain to France's data regulator, the CNIL. The support page describes a quicker route for deletion, inside the app under Profile, which it says erases personal data, credits and the account immediately.

Caresse is for adults only. The pages carry an 18+ marker, and the FAQ repeats that it is reserved for adults. The terms of use ask each user to declare on their honor that they have reached the legal age of majority where they live, and the pages describe no ID check beyond that declaration. The terms carry no statement that every character is an adult; their nearest equivalent is a ban, in their words "strictement interdit et filtré systématiquement" (strictly forbidden and systematically filtered), on any content involving minors or any form of exploitation. On consent, the product states that its guidance includes "rappels naturels de consentement" (natural consent reminders) built into the narration. The footer links separate terms of use, sales terms, a privacy policy and a legal notice. The copyright line names Studio Mokuton as the publisher.

On the page load: in October 2026 the front page loaded 3 third-party domains (apple.com, google.com and umami.is), made 20 requests, named no ad networks and did not redirect elsewhere.

What the app holds

The library is not a catalog. The site says so itself: a catalog replays recordings, while Caresse "écrit et génère chaque session au moment où vous la lancez" (writes and generates each session the moment you launch it), so 2 sessions set up identically are never the same. A listener chooses solo or duo mode, enters profiles under borrowed names, and sets sound ambience, the tone of the guidance, practices, accessories and dynamics, then an intensity from romantic to explicit. The app generates the session in a few minutes and sends a notification when it is ready. The finished session is narrated audio with a chosen background ambience.

Session length is stated as 25-35 min for an experience. Audio comes in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese, with some Portuguese interface screens not yet translated, while the demos published on the website are in French, English and Spanish. The site says it welcomes all identities, genders and relationship dynamics, and its demo page offers 6 entry points: solo and couple sessions in different moods, plus sessions written for 2 women or for 2 men. Those demos are fixed recordings of a session's first phase, not generated for the listener, and the page is clear that the real thing lives in the app. Audio keeps playing with the screen locked, with controls on the lock screen, per the support page, and the pages mention a use case for blind and low-vision listeners who prefer a session with no screen.

The app runs on iPhone and Android.

Who it suits

It suits a listener or couple who wants audio only, a voice that uses names of their choosing, and a bill that ends with each purchase. The no-subscription model fits occasional use: nothing renews, so a quiet month costs nothing. It also suits anyone who wants to hear a demo before spending, with no account of any kind.

It is a weaker fit for a buyer who wants a browsable library, since there is none, or who wants the studio itself to handle refunds, because the pages route every refund to Apple or Google. Output is generated, so quality can vary session to session, and the pages concede slight inconsistencies. The pages print no statement descriptor.

Its strength is the pairing of an audio-only product with a payment model that stays small and ends at purchase, with free demos to judge the voice first.
