What it is and what it costs

Sssh.com is a studio site that sells memberships to its own films. Its pages describe it as "feminist porn for women and couples", female-led and female-focused, and as "ethically produced, sex-positive indie erotic cinema". The site says its films are crowd-sourced, "inspired by fantasies and desires shared by our members", and that it has been making them since 1999. Those are the studio's own descriptions of itself, and the front page backs them with a short section on ethical filmmaking, a link to casting calls and on-set policies, and a note that the site is listed with the Ethical Porn Partnership and has received an APAC stamp of approval.

The pages describe no free tier beyond the front page, the join page and the legal pages. What you pay for is a membership of fixed length, bought by credit card, that starts as either a very short trial or a full period.

The costs are simple to list. The join page in October 2026 offered a 2-day trial membership at $4.95, a 1-month full membership at $19.95, a 3-month full membership at $54.95 and a 1-year full membership at $99.95. The page says plainly that credit card subscriptions rebill for a like period until you cancel, and that the trial is no exception. That makes the trial the part of the offer to read most carefully: the join page notes that trial memberships renew at the monthly rate.

Paying and stopping

The company that bills is named in the terms of service: The Phoenix Group. The terms say that by buying a membership you authorize The Phoenix Group "to charge subscriber's credit card (or other approved facility) to pay for the ongoing cost of membership", and the join page footer gives The Phoenix Group's business address in Nashua, New Hampshire. The pages name no outside card processor.

Sssh.com prints its statement descriptor. Under "Description of Billing" the terms say "All charges will discreetly appear as 'The Phoenix Group' or 'ThePHXGroup' on your credit card statement." A buyer knows in advance which 2 strings to look for, and neither carries the Sssh name.

Renewal is automatic. The terms say subscription fees "are automatically renewed at the end of the original term selected, for a like period of time", unless notice reaches the company 48 hours before the renewal date. In October 2026 the terms gave the trial its own rule: a 2-day (48 hour) trial "will automatically rebill at our monthly (30 day) rate of $19.95", with notice needed 12 hours before the trial renewal. The terms define the periods in days: monthly memberships are 30 days, quarterly are 90 days and annual memberships are 360 days.

Those notice windows apply only to email cancellations, and the terms mark them with an asterisk to say so. The routes the terms describe are an email to the support address, an automated form, and a call to a live customer service line that is open 24/7. The terms say canceling "via the automated form or calling our 24/7 live customer service number" is immediate. An email cancellation needs 3 of 4 identifying details (the site you joined, your name, the email address you used or your username), and a request with missing or inaccurate details is not treated as valid. That is the practical difference between the 3 routes: the form and the phone stop the plan at once, while email depends on timing and on the company finding your record.

Refunds are narrow. The terms say subscription fees are non-refundable once the username and password have been used to access the site, and that when a member requests termination, fees are not refunded. If a refund is ever issued, it goes back to the card used for the original purchase and never by cash or check. The terms also say the security system will detect automated bulk downloading and ban the account immediately with no refund. The refund wording makes no separate exception for the $4.95 trial, which the join page offered in October 2026, and the pages do not say whether a trial that has not yet rebilled can be refunded.

Account, data and the site's rules

Joining means choosing a plan, paying by card and receiving a username and password, and the members' login page warns that the login is case sensitive and gives the support email and phone number for login trouble. The front page asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or older and agree to cookie use described in the Privacy Policy. In the terms, the member swears to being at least 18, or 21 in AL, MS, NE and WY, and promises not to let anyone below that age use the materials. Memberships are personal and non-transferable, and the member remains liable for unauthorized use until the company is told of a breach by email or telephone.

On data, the terms refer to a separate privacy policy and open with a strong statement: "All information you submit to us is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL! We do not share your information with anyone." Receipts are sent by email on request, and by joining the member agrees to receive transaction receipts, login reminders and service messages, plus updates and specials that can be opted out of by email.

For its compliance statements, the 2257 page says all models in content the site produces were over 18 when it was created, names a records custodian at a Dokweg address in the Netherlands, and says content produced by others is covered by the primary producer's own custodian. That page carries a different site name in its heading but sits on this domain and covers all persons depicted. The terms' contact block lists Wasteland, B.V. with the same Netherlands custodian and a United States post office box, and the site states it is a member of the Free Speech Coalition. The terms are headed "Standard Terms and Conditions of Adult Entertainment Membership".

A light page load goes with that: in October 2026 the front page drew on 6 outside domains (cloudflare.com, google-analytics.com, google.com, googleapis.com, gstatic.com and jquery.com) over 46 requests, none of them a named ad network, and it kept the visitor on sssh.com.

What the membership holds

The center of the site is its original films. The home page calls them "ethically produced, sex positive, cinematic quality narratives" and says they have been made since 1999. A second section, labeled as a collection of films from other producers and directors, sits beside it, and the footer carries a Trailers link.

The VR side is listed on the front page under "VR Dynamic 360 Movies", with the line "No Headset Required". The pages give no format, resolution or headset list, so the claim is the whole of what is known: 360 movies you can open without owning a headset.

The written side is its own section, "Original Novels & Stories", which the site describes as erotic stories and novels written by world-renowned authors, read chapter by chapter. The front page's introduction also lists "auditory stimulation" among what the site offers, but the pages give no detail on audio titles, so the stories section reads as a reading offer. A photo section called "Beautiful & Artistic Photo Galleries" completes the list, with both original and collected imagery.

The pages do not give a count of films, a release schedule or a video resolution. The blog post on the site dates from 2013 and describes channels and live events from that period, so it is not a guide to what a member finds today.

Who it suits

Sssh.com suits a buyer who wants the descriptor, the billing company and the cancel path stated before paying, and who values a staffed phone line at any hour and an instant cancellation form. It also suits someone who wants a studio with a stated production philosophy and one billing company behind it, and who may want VR and written stories under the same login.

It fits less well with someone who dislikes automatic renewal, because the trial turns into the monthly rate and the notice windows are short, or with a buyer who expects a refund after logging in. The pages do not publish a library size or video resolution, so a viewer who needs those facts will not find them here. What the site does well is plain: it states who bills you, what the statement will say, how to stop, and how fast.
