What it is and what it costs

JustHoney.ai is an AI companion platform that runs in a browser on desktop and mobile. Its FAQ says there is nothing to install, "no downloads, no app store". You chat with AI girlfriends, AI boyfriends and other characters, and the companions can send AI-generated selfies and photos in the conversation. The site also sells scripted picture-and-audio stories it calls Experiences and an Image Generator for making fictional characters.

The free tier is deliberately limited. The terms give each free account a one-time allowance of 25 messages with AI companions, not replenished, and describe the free tier as SFW only: companions are set to decline sexual or explicit steering, and other media may be shown blurred as a preview of what a plan includes. Adult chat and media sit behind a Standard or Premium plan, which the FAQ describes as monthly or annual subscriptions, each with a monthly allowance of the site's in-app currency, Nectar. Extra Nectar is sold in one-off packs.

No plan price is printed on the front page, the FAQ or the terms. The terms send buyers to a plan comparison page for what each plan includes and to a purchase page for Nectar pack prices, and say the price is shown in pounds for the UK, euros for the European Economic Area and US dollars elsewhere, chosen by the buyer's location. The figure a buyer agrees to is the one on the Review & Confirm page, which the terms call the reference price and lock to the subscription unless 30 days' notice of a change is given by email.

Paying and stopping

The terms say charges "will appear on your cardholder statement as QUANTUMCAPAI", with a note that the text may be shortened to fit the character limits of the card issuer. The statement name is the operator's, not the site's. The terms and the 2257 page refer to a third-party payment services provider and describe a flow that starts with a card hold. The terms do not name that provider, but the privacy policy does: it says the payment services provider, Rapyd, collects card details and billing address directly on a Rapyd-hosted checkout page.

On purchase the provider places a hold on the card, and no money is taken until the age verification provider returns a pass. If verification fails, the hold is voided, nothing is charged, and the subscription is canceled. The terms say a voided hold is released by the issuing bank within 1-3 business days. If a buyer abandons the verification step, a reminder email goes out after 24 hours of inactivity and the hold is voided after 72 hours.

Plans renew. The terms say "Paid Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, according to the plan you selected)", and that at least 7 days before each recurring charge a reminder email gives the date, the amount, the plan and a direct link to the cancel portal. At checkout a subscriber accepts "the automatic recurring billing terms displayed" on the Review & Confirm page, which sits directly under the order summary showing the amount due today and the billing frequency, and the FAQ lists monthly and annual plans. Where a plan is charged in a local currency, the terms say the amount is the reference price converted at the payment provider's exchange rate at the moment of each charge, so the local figure can differ slightly between renewals while the reference price does not. Card issuers may add their own foreign exchange fee.

Cancellation is the most fully written part. The terms name 3 routes. The primary one is self-service in Account Settings under Subscription, which the terms say "completes in four clicks" (4 clicks). The others are an email to the support address from the registered address, or a ticket in the site's Discord community. Cancellation is free and takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with paid features kept until then. The terms add that there are no phone calls, no hold times and no retention flows, and that the site shows an on-screen confirmation and sends an email stating the end date and that no further charges will be made.

If a renewal payment fails, the terms describe a retry sequence and a 7-day window, after which the account drops to the free tier. Memories, companions, conversation history, purchased Nectar, Experiences already bought and generated images are kept. A hard decline, such as a card reported lost or a closed account, skips the retries.

Refunds are set out in section 9 of the terms. EU, EEA and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a first subscription and from each Nectar pack, less a proportionate deduction for what was already used. Every buyer, wherever they live, may ask for a goodwill refund within 48 hours of a first subscription purchase, or 7 days for an annual plan, subject to usage limits. An unused Nectar pack is fully refundable within 24 hours. Renewals are not refundable as a matter of policy, and spent Nectar is returned only if a generation fails or is blocked, not because the buyer dislikes a delivered image. The terms ask buyers to contact support before filing a chargeback.

Account, data and the site's rules

Registration takes an email address and password, or sign-in through a supported third-party provider. A mandatory checkbox accepts the terms and privacy policy, and the user re-confirms being 18 or older. Email sign-ups are locked until the address is confirmed by link or code, and the terms say that includes free-tier chat. The privacy policy lists email address, display name and password as collected.

Age assurance has 2 layers. A landing-page gate and the registration step are self-declarations that open the SFW side only. Adult features need a paid plan and a pass from a third-party provider, using facial age estimation with an identity-document fallback, or identity verification directly where local law requires it. The terms say the site receives only the pass or fail result and a limited audit record, not the face image, document or biometric data. For UK visitors the terms say the methods are designed to meet Ofcom's highly effective age assurance guidance, and a pass is a one-time event for the account.

Privacy terms are specific. Conversation data may be used to train and improve the site's AI models after identifying information is stripped, and the policy says this is optional, with an opt-out by email under the subject line "AI training opt-out". The policy says conversation data is not sold or shared publicly, and that it runs a self-hosted product analytics platform with session replays only if the visitor consents to analytics cookies and honoring the Global Privacy Control signal. It says the site uses no marketing or advertising cookies. Deleted accounts are removed or anonymized within 30 days, apart from records the law requires it to keep, and accounts inactive for 24 consecutive months are suspended and then deleted after notice.

The operator is named: QUANTUMCAP LTD, company number 17131047, registered in England and Wales, with a registered office in Covent Garden, London, trading as JustHoney.AI. Its 2257 statement claims exemption because every visual on the site is AI-made, with no real people photographed or hired. The statement says users cannot upload images or video, the Image Generator takes preset options only, and each generated image goes to a private gallery that is never shown to other users. It bars content depicting real identifiable people, content derived from real photographs, and anything that could be read as depicting a minor. A separate takedown policy sets a 7-day resolution target for illegal-content reports, with in-product report controls and a faster route for child abuse material.

Its front page, as loaded in October 2026, made 163 requests and reached only 2 outside domains, both Google measurement services (google-analytics.com and googletagmanager.com); no ad network was among them, and there was no redirect on load.

What the membership holds

The FAQ describes "uncensored NSFW AI chat and media" for adults who pass age checks on a paid plan, together with unlimited messaging under fair use. The terms put numbers on that: a daily fair-use limit of normally 350 to 500 messages, depending on the plan and activity, plus shorter rate limits. Companions are fictional characters with their own personalities, backstories and voices, and the FAQ says each has its own fine-tuned model so the face stays consistent across photos. Memory of earlier conversations is a headline claim. Companion types listed are AI girlfriends, AI boyfriends and anime characters.

Experiences are sets of AI-generated images, video, narration, dialogue and audio played step by step. A plan alone does not open them: the terms say you need an active plan, completed age verification and enough Nectar for the displayed price. Experiences already bought stay on the account after a plan lapses, subject to age verification. The Image Generator is for paid accounts that have passed age verification, with every generation costing the Nectar amount shown before confirming. Purchased Nectar does not expire, has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Who it suits

It suits a reader who wants to know the legal entity, the statement text and the cancel path before entering a card, and who is comfortable with a card hold that is released if age verification fails. The free tier lets a visitor judge the chat and memory on 25 messages without a payment method, though without any adult content.

Caveats are real. The plan prices are not on the terms pages, the payment provider is named only in the privacy policy, and an adult feature set costs a plan plus Nectar for Experiences and images, so the total can exceed the plan alone. Conversation data can feed model training unless the buyer opts out by email.

Against that, the terms document stopping in plain terms: a 4-click self-service cancel, 2 backup routes, a stated end-of-period rule and a named operator.
